Connecting With The Land – Visiting A Local Organic Farm

If you live anywhere near a farm that has tours for the public and operates according to sustainable standards that help close the loop, so to speak and are good for the people and the planet, it would be great to support them in any way you can. Whether for tours, volunteering, buying their products, etc.

I had the pleasure to recently tour a farm in southern California, called Coastal Roots Farm. It is located on the North County coast of San Diego, in the city of Encinitas. I learned so much and was inspirational and educational! It is absolutely amazing what they are doing and accomplishing in the area of regenerative agriculture, and are not even in existence for 10 years yet.

I hope if you live in the area, you will take full advantage of going on a tour, volunteering and also purchasing from their farm stand. I am including pictures I took of the produce I bought after the tour and also links from their website so you can learn about their wonderful system of agriculture.
